Hospital bag. Hello ladies , I would like to know when will you all start packing your hospital bags…

It's never too soon really, you'll have time to change out some things you put in there if you change ur mind. I haven't started yet, I always waited till the last month

Hey Tia! Is this your first baby? I think it's still too early to pack a hospital bag but you can start preparing what you want to bring with you. I would say the best time to have your bag ready if everything is going well in your pregnancy is 30-35 weeks. This is my 5th baby so I may just pack last minute lol.. Also, the hospital usually provides some things for you & baby after delivery?

I have been checking my bags since about a week ago. I took stuff out and added neutral, boy and girl take me home outfits. We’re team yellow and this is our rainbow ? baby. Prep whenever you like. It is early but it doesn’t mean you can’t get an early start. ?

What I have in our bag is

3 outfits as mentioned above

Diapers for the trip home

Wipes

Bibs

Receiving blankets

Pacifier

Baby on board window cling

Extra socks and mittens.

I’m bringing my own bag for my stay so whatever they give me I can put in there as well. DH will also have a bag for himself if needed. We live about an 50minutes away from the hospital so gotta be prepared. ??

No it's not to early I'm doing the same thing I'm 22 weeks today. I'm getting mine ready now because you never know what you could be forgetting easier to just put it in then instead of rushing last minute to try and get everything you need just grab your bag and off you go then or if you go into labour a little earlier but that just my opinion.

I ordered a new hospital bag and it came last week I’m dying to pack it but I usually do it 6 weeks before due date xx

I think it's still a bit early personally. But I don't pack mine till the night before my csection! Lol

I guess it’s not too early to start, but here’s what I rec:

-Wallet w/ID & insurance info

-phone & charger

-Basic personal toiletries (face wash, deodorant, toothbrush, makeup etc)

-Cozy socks (hospitals can be cold)

-Cozy jammies for 2nd night

-Outfit for trip home

-Outfit for baby’s trip home

-Binky

And that’s about it!! The hospital will provide you with basically everything you need - even onesies - and send you home with extra diapers, wipes, swaddle blanket, etc. You seriously don’t need to pack all that baby stuff for your stay in the hospital. I even liked the ugly (but comfy) mesh underwear & peri bottle they gave me! They also provide you with pads.

I suggest waiting until the start of third trimester at least.
