I LOVE THIS.

Whenever I'm on a long trip I always become attached to the car that I'm behind for a long time! My SO and I make up life stories about them and think about what kind of person they are.

I do this with tractor trailers usually. Most cars piss me off- if you are going slower than me, you are a grandma. If you are going faster than me, you are reckless ?. I know, completely irrational. But every now and then, I'll find that one car and it's awesome:) Great story! I'm glad you found a friend to keep you company on your journey!

Lol!! Sometimes I will notice that me and another driver make the same turns get on the same freeway get off on the same exit..but they make a right and I'll take a left...it's like ok..well have good night lol!!

Lol. I feel the same way. I was driving down to FL years ago by myself and a guy in a 4Runner got behind me. He followed me for at least an hour. I was in my Mustang and I would get behind a car that was speeding and I'd ride out. The guy stayed behind me the whole time. I finally stopped to get gas and he turned in behind me and walked up to my car and said "There's nothing sexier than a woman that can drive". Turns out we were going to the same part of FL and we swapped numbers. He followed me the whole way and we ended up hanging out a few times.

But yeah, it would have been creepy if he was some kind of weirdo!

It was awesome. He had a kid with him I could see him moving his arms. At one point he drove by and was making funny faces at my daughter lol it really was awesome. I've always wondered if the other drivers missed me like I miss them, but I know he will!! Lol

Yeah no it wasn't weird at all we were both just trying to get to wherever we were going and both drive the same. I kind of wished he got off the highway just so I could be like man you honestly just made my entire life, but I'm married and I'm sure he is too so that probably would have been weird. I couldn't stop laughing I had to call my mom sister and my husband and tell them about it lol

I love it when you find someone with your same driving style and awareness. I used to have more fun when I had my sporty honda civic si. I have a SUV with no power so I can't punch it and fly around traffic like I used to.

My driving game is make up naughty acronyms for their license plates. Mine is NVP (Nice Virgin Penis).

Can't save I've ever had that happen. But I've had plenty of other hand gestures. Everyone in cali either drives aggressive or way to damn slow. Lol

I wish I was like this but I have terrible road rage on top of that I'm a worry wart and anyone that I would have been around for that amount of time I would feel was either stalking me or was a hit man getting ready to murder me and if I looked over and saw a hand gesture I would have seen a gun or something. I would have sped away so fast. Lol

Yes!!!! I used to go to school 3 hours away but would come home all the time. I had SOO many road buddies. I lived in Norfolk and was driving back to D.C.

One girl made the entire trip with me! She high beamed me when she was getting off her exit.

The other day this truck pulled in front of us. He almost hit us. He flipped dh off when we passed him bc he honked at him. Then followed us to the store. We went separate ways in the parking lot. Well, yesterday he was in front of us while we were driving in a different part of town! We were getting ready to turn so we pulled up next to him. He looked over at us got a red face and flipped us off again. ? He must have remembered us too. We just laughed. It was weird as heck.
