Braxton hicks?
I'm a second time mom and I never noticed any Braxton Hicks with my first baby. Lately, I have been noticing that my stomach will randomly get really tight on both sides around my belly button and my belly button will get flat instead of sticking out. For a couple weeks, I thought that it was positional and that the baby was laying sideways or something. Now I'm wondering if that is what a Braxton Hicks contraction feels like? Is been happening quite a bit for the past couple of weeks.

I never had any with my first but then again she was induced at 41 weeks and wouldn't have come til later if she had her way lol. But I had my first 2 last night with this one. My stomach tightened up like a basketball and then I had some sharp pains/cramps too. I only had 2 so guessed that to be Braxton hicks.

Yes. I didn't get them with my 1st either that I remember, but I've been getting them for quite some time with this one....
