For those of you who had a baby after a miscarriage
How long did it take you to really enjoy your pregnancy and stop feeling so scared and paranoid that something would go wrong? I had a miscarriage in August and then got pregnant immediately after. I'm 12w2d and I have been extremely paranoid this entire pregnancy. I'm really hoping that the paranoia ease up once I'm into the second trimester!

Try to focus on the good. I know it may be hard but the stress isn't good either. I had a mc in July and I'm 12w4d. Have you gotten to see the baby and hear the heartbeat? Just saw my baby Friday and I really feel like I'm starting to get into being pregnant. Have you told anyone? My family knows and they really help. My sisters and mom and dad text about how in feeling and how baby's doing. Really helps to stay on the positive track. I also have a picture of the ultrasounds on my phone and look at them often. And we keep the pics on our fridge.

I had a miscarriage in feb of 2009 between 14w and 16w and I still get worried to this day. I have had two healthy pregnancies since then as well. I am now 13w 2d this time around. I usually can breath again around 16w.

Good to know, thanks ladies! We are waiting until 14 weeks to tell our families. My mom knows and a couple of my best friends and that's pretty much it. I had an ultrasound done at 9 weeks and got to see the baby moving around and see the heartbeat. I actually went in 2 weeks ago to my midwife because I was convinced something was wrong and she was able to find the heartbeat with the doppler, which was great! I go in for another appointment today and I'm finding myself worried that something could have happened in the last two weeks and that the baby's heartbeat won't be there or something. It's exhausting. I'm so excited to be pregnant, but I feel like the constant worrying isn't allowing me to enjoy it as much as I could be

Try out the Bella beats shell app that everyone's talking about. May be too soon to hear with it but if you can find it, might ease your worries. Give the app time. Took me 3 nights of searching and patience to find it.

I had a 19 week miscarriage with my first pregnancy due to my cervix thinning out they still don't know why I had a full term no complications pregnancy with my daughter so they don't know why it happened I honestly just pray for the best but don't really relax until 28 weeks but statistics are after first trimester your usually gold

I still feel a relief after seeing a heartbeat, even though I lost 2 after that. But I just have to go into each pregnancy with the same hope as before, otherwise it's not fair to myself or the baby. Living in fear or paranoia doesn't decrease risk or distance between you and loss. It just keeps you in an emotional prison. Don't do that to yourself. Each new life deserves the same hope. Focus on the hope. I had my first MC before my daughter and 3 this year. Whatever will be will be?

I'm in the same boat. I lost a baby in July at 10 weeks :( I am so uncomfortable even discussing this pregnancy with my family. I can't get excited yet :/ I've seen this baby three times, hear the heartbeat on the doppler at home, know the gender, and I'm nearly 12 weeks. I should be good but I'm not.

I miscarried in November 2014, currently 14+5 and I stopped worrying around my 13 week scan when I saw movements and a strong heart rate for the third time. Now into my second trimester and I still have symptoms (heartburn, fatigue, a bit of breast pain) so I know things are on the right track :)
