Finding out gender?
This will be our last baby (I had to convince hubby to even consider having this one lol). I am dead set on not finding out baby #2's gender, but my hubby is equally as set on finding out. I know it's a ways away still, but I'm not sure what to do. I don't know that he could keep it a secret from me if he was the only one to find out. If he does find out, I don't want him to tell anyone else because I feel like someone would let it slip. Plus, I don't want everyone knowing my baby's gender before me ? Is anyone else in a similar situation? What are you planning on doing?

Yes! We found out what our first was because my SO wanted to so this one we're waiting until birth. He still really wants to find out but I think it's only fair that we did what he wanted with our son and now it's my turn to get my way lol.

I was in a similar situation but after my husband read stories about people who waited and talked to other guys at work about it and they did it. He is having a change of heart and we won't be finding out until birth! I am so excited! Hope you can convince him (-:

We found out with #1 but think we'll wait this time. I want to and he wanted to know. But I think he's coming around as I said "if you find out it's another girl there's nothing we can do to change it so why not be surprised".

This is us too. I want to wait and my hubby wants to find out. We had a girl the first time around and he really would like a boy (but obviously would be fine if it's another girl). I on the other hand really don't care what we have. I think it would be awesome to have one of each but I also think it would be cool for my little girl to have a sister to grow up with. I told him that if there is ANY possible way he will be let down in the delivery room if it turns out being a girl, then we should find out so he has time to let it sink in. I told him how exciting it would be to wait and that we may never get that opportunity again. I think he's coming around and starting to think he wants to wait to find out.

Pinkcowgirl, that is the exact same situation we are in! We had a girl first, I really wanted a girl the first time around and he really wanted a boy. Now I am totally fine either way and he wants a boy.
I hope I can convince him too, I think it would be so amazing going into the delivery and not knowing if it's a boy or girl.
