Hummus a no-go while pregnant?
I heard that recently, please tell me that's not true! I eat hummus almost every day. Wich Which is about the only thing I can stomach lately and I always get a sub with hummus. Apparently there is a risk due to Listeria? Has anyone else heard that? Do you eat hummus still?

I know within the last year Sabra had a contamination issue and let go of all of their quality control specialists (I almost got the job after but it was a far commute). They had either a listeria or salmonella outbreak. Generally, hummus would be safe because it is still pasteurized. If you are getting it from a place like subway, I would just have them heat the sub since it is on the line and could be contaminated after opening.

I make my own hummus every Sunday and easy it everyday of the week! It's fine to eat if it's homemade.
