When did you start showing with baby #2? I'm just wondering because I lost a pregnancy last month and we don't want to tell anyone about this pregnancy until I'm out of the first trimester. I see my dad, stepmom, and best friend about once a week and I don't want them to be able to tell before I'm ready announce it. We told close family and friends last time and it was really hard having to go back and tell everyone that I lost the pregnancy. I don't want to have to go through that again if anything happens with this one (God forbid). I'm currently 5w4d and I already feel so bloated. I'm nervous to see them this weekend because I'm so scared they will be able to tell! I'm a terrible liar and I really hope they don't ask!

I'm so sorry for your loss ? I'm on pregnancy #4 but baby #2 (God willing) as we had 2 losses last year. The bloat is bad the first few weeks but will eventually go down. I'm 12w5d and have a little bump that I think is pretty noticeable but it didn't get to the hard to hide stage until about a week ago. Not sure what the temp is where you live but baggy shirts and hoodies can be your new best friend when trying to hide a baby bump. Good luck and best wishes for a H&H 9 mos!

Everyone is different. If you start out small or have loose stomach muscles your bloat might be noticeable. I know mine was this current pregnancy being my 3rd. I had a flat stomach but not much muscle tone. Wear loose fitted clothing for now. It will subside soon. If this is your first you might not really start showing until your second trimester. Good luck keeping that baby in there!

Thanks ladies! I live in Texas and it's been pretty hot here until a front came through yesterday. I'm hoping the cooler weather sticks around so I can hide my bloat better. I saw my best friend this weekend and she asked if I was pregnant. I couldn't lie to get, so I ended up telling her. We were both ttc at the same time, so she knew when my period was due. She's taking a test tomorrow and I am hoping and praying it's positive!! This would be baby #1 for her and #2 for me. I'm hoping I can keep out from my parents for longer!

I'm short so my baby has no where to go but out. I'm currently 18 weeks but look 7 months. I tried to conceal it until the 2nd trimester but my pants just weren't having it lol. My friend that is very long waisted only ever looked bloated the whole 9 months. We are all different.

I got bloat early and really bad, mostly by the end of the day and look super pregnant. I'd say I actually looked pregnant by 14 weeks which is in the second trimester so might be a safe time to announce by then

I'm pregnant with #2 now, just about 8wks and I'm starting to show a little. Most people probably haven't noticed yet since it is subtle and I wear loose tunics to work, but I definitely noticed it! I didn't show until closer to 12 weeks last time
