Fertility Friend users Do you use the advanced setting or FAM? Is one more reliable than the other?

Ok. So advanced looks at everything. Opks, temps, cm, usual patterns etc and comes up with an ovulation prediction based on all of that info you input. If you put something like EWCM or watery cm in after ovulation then that may cause it to be less sure of your prediction and remove crosshairs. FAM detector only looks at temps. So it will predict ovulation once you have three temps in a row higher than the last 6. It takes no notice of cm or opks. I would say that when you started to chart cm something threw FF off track. When you switched to FAM then it ignored those cm entries and put your crosshairs back based on your temps alone. Hope that makes sense. Sorry it took so long to explain ?

Oh okay. Thanks so much Rachel, that makes more sense. So since I didn't start charting cm/cp until cd22, should I stick with FAM for this month? I didn't use OPK's or anything
