DS is obsessed with DF's dad he's constantly shouting grampa and my grampa. When he's in he runs away from me and climbs up on him and cuddles in. It used to bother me when he was smaller because he could comfort him instantly whereas i couldn't! Doesn't bother me now though i think it's sweet☺

My 15 month old adores my mom! And she adores him too. But I love that because she watches him when I work so I'm glad he's happy and loved.

Dd loves her mimi more than anyone it seems. She wakes up crying for her, will randomly get her clothes and shoes and say, GO bye bye to mimi house!. (My mom watches her 8-10 hours a day, 5 days out the week). It sucks in a way as in hurts my and dhs feeling sometimes, but I'm grateful for their relationship being close.

Yea I'm with him all day long. He sees her everyday after work. I know it's just because he doesn't see her a whole lot but it still hurts.

My son does this with DH. Goes crazy excited and kicks me in the face on his way to daddy. I'm with him 24/7 while DH is at work from 6am-6pm. Now that DH has taken 3 weeks off work, DS isn't as crazy over him and actually cries for me when DH has him.

My son and I lived with my parents for about a year when he was a baby... My mom watched him while I worked and went to school so she spent a ton of time with him and he LOVED her. I know he liked her more than he liked me and it bothered me a lot. But now he's 3 and he's a mama's boy. He still loves my mom, but he comes to me for comfort etc. It may just be a phase for your little one too. Spend as much one on one time as you can with him!

Ds1 loves FIL more than anyone. Always has.

Are you home with him all the time? How often does he see her? Sometimes it's just a novelty kind of thing. You're always there, he sees you every day. Grandmas not so he wants to spend time with her while he can.
