When I boiled my Spectra parts to sterilize them, I also always boiled the backflow protectors. They never really touched the milk, but I did it to be safe since the possibility was there.

Yay that makes everything much easier.

Do I also steam the back flow protector? It says anything that comes into contact with milk but I'm not sure if that part does.
