I would recommend going to the university and getting your bachelors. The hospitals around here won't hire you anymore unless you have a BSN. It sucks paying the extra money, but it will benefit you more in the long run. Plus you would probably just end up getting your BSN eventually anyway.
Yes, pps r right. Im in California and the hospitals here r the same with only wanting to hire a rn with a bsn.
As far as license goes I know here in California if u want to work as a rn u must get Ur license in California so I'd check the state u want to work in and see if they require u to have a license in that state or if a license from another state is fine.
