Ford motor company rant Off topic but I'm just gonna rant for a little bit and see if anyone else…

I don't think it's the company being i have a car through them as well as our loan. It sounds like the dealership itself. I would call corporate and tell them how much BS you've been dealing with so that they will know if they need to retrain or hire new people so that it doesn't happen again. I've never had any issues in fact they sent me a gift card (reimbursement plus $10) in mail just for charging me for a part they weren't suppose to for.

Do to the dmv. They car reissue plates for you. It may cost some. Explain what happened they maybe be able to do something with out a fee.

I worked at a car dealership for almost 10 yrs. I get sometimes there's miscommunication -- it can happen in any job. But the dealership I worked at would call the customer and then they would get mailed out thru FedEx. So I would hope the dealership could track them for u. And if the plates don't show up u have to make a police report and they become stolen/lost plates. At that point the dealership can get u new plates. Also talk to the GM (general manager) who should get the situation handled. Or the office manager (that should be the motor vehicle girl (or guy)'s direct supervisor. Sh*t runs down hill and one of those two should be able to resolve the problem. Dealerships live off of customer satisfaction so they should do everything and anything in their power to help u resolve it in a timely manner. And if u get pulled over or any tickets it should be the dealerships responsibility to pay your ticket.

Im seriously debating on calling if nothing gets done. I'm going up there tomorrow to talk with them one more time though. And that's what I've been thinking to they should surely have a tracking number or something but no one can tell me where they are. It should have been returned by now back to them and so surely they could have called and said it couldn't be delivered or something. I'm really hoping we don't have to file a report on them. ?

And trust me I know about Chevy lol. He actually traded his Chevy in for this Ford and I have not let him live it down yet. Even he says he should have stayed with Chevy after going through all this.
