How do b you handle when your toddler refuses to eat what's for dinner, even if they like it. My girl weighs 22lbs so shed can't not eat.

I would offer the food a little later that she didn't eat for dinner. If she still won't eat it then offer it for breakfast. Someone just gave me this advice the other day. She will eat it when she is hungry enough. My son is a good eater but lately he hasn't been finishing his breakfast. I guess he just isn't as hungry in the morning.

Dd weighs the same.
If she doesn’t eat, I’ll offer her the food later. If she doesn’t eat still before bed, I’ll offer her some fruit or a snack before she lays down(or a strawberry/banana smoothie or a banana shake(or etc) so I at least know she ate something, whether it’s dinner or not.
Most of the time dd eats dinner but some nights, she’ll have a couple bites and that’s it.
I feel like dd is too young to be told, “if you don’t eat dinner, then you’re not getting anything else” which is why I try to give her something else before bed. When she’s older, I’ll enforce eating dinner if she’s hungry instead of trying to give her something else when she doesn’t eat.
Sorry, probably not the best advice but that’s what I do!

If my girl refuses to eat, i try her to eat somethihg else in a while just to don’t go to bed with an empty stomach. But my girl is almost 16kg (almost 35lbs)...so I don’t worry much if she don’t have a big appetite here and there.

My son is on the smaller side to but he's always been thin. Currently weighing 27 lbs. I try to get him to eat as much as possible and if he refuses I just try again a little later. He just never wants to sit to eat. On the go anytime he's awake

I honestly don’t know how much my lo weighs but she looks average... she’s not a good eater. Often times she will not eat dinner, even if I offer it later. I do ask her if she’d like a slice of cheese or avocado instead (her favorites). If she says yes, then great! If she says no, then I just move on and call it a loss.
She does drink a ton of milk so I know her belly is full before bed. She’ll eat when she’s hungry is my mantra, I don’t stress about it.

If mine refused I just make him a sandwich but he usually eats what we do he's not to fussy

My little girl is a “snacker”. She eats very small meal, if you can even call them that, throughout the day. I just make sure to keep plenty healthy “snacks” like eggs, apples, crackers, cheese, oranges, etc. in our home. Not much junk food but she does get the occasional donut here and there. Lol
