Oh wow, I'm not sure. I haven't seen any girls on here post something quite along that line. Can you call your doctors office tomorrow and ask what they consider spotting and what they define as bleeding requiring you to take the medication. Personally, I'd avoid the pill as much as possible. Other girls experiences have been very painful with it. Be of course if you need it then you need it. It would be helpful if the office had made it more clear for you.

How many pads have you used? I was told after D&C bleeding like a period for a week was normal. D&E is a little different but I think it's the same for bleeding... not sure though.

I hope you heal quickly! You've had the worst experience.

I don't want to take it because the side of affects are scary. I'm going through I pad maybe once or twice a day..so it's not bad at all. I still consider it spotting...but who knows.

That sounds like spotting to me. I took that pill before my d&c and it literally did nothing. I think everyone is different. I would say maybe if it's bright red bleeding that's what they're saying means you should take?? But I did have bright red after my D&c. Those are bad instructions....even if the office is closed you should still be able to get the answering service and page the doc on call

Thanks ladies. I'm supposed to take it if bleeding becomes like that of a period or heavier. Spotting is normal and natural after this. Who would have thought.
