It sounds like you're having a missed miscarriage and your body still thinks you're pregnant. Are you still having pregnancy symptoms? If so, it may be awhile before you're body realizes it. When I had a missed MC, I waited 10 days for it to happen naturally and didn't have any symptoms-barely any cramps, no spotting...nothing. I decided then I couldn't wait any longer and I had a d&c. If this happened to me again I would definitely opt for the d&c again. From what I read online, a natural MC Can be painful depending on how far along you are. I don't know if you can do anything to speed it up, but I had read a warm bath may help.

Also, if you're 12 weeks right now and the baby passed at 9 weeks, that's been three weeks already you're body hasn't realized it so it may still be awhile :( ugh I know it's awful. I'm thinking of you...

Mine passed naturally without any pills. I had pain relievers to help. I used a heating pad when the pain was too much. The pain lasted 2 1/2 days for me. The baby passed through on the first day. The rest was just some tissue. I stopped bleeding by day 6 although it was only spotting at that point. Mine would have been a mmc as it passed at 7 weeks 4 days but I was over 10 weeks when the miscarriage happened
