sigh Today I learned, at my 12 week appt, that my baby has no heartbeat. Devastated.

So sorry for your loss hun that happened to me also at 13 weeks. i totally understand your pain. It slowly does get easier (mine was end of June). My d&c gave me closure but mourn as much as you can xx

So sorry...Its probably one of the hardest things to go through. Sharing the same experience as you. I am four days post d&c and still feel a bit pregnant which i think is hard when you are looking for closure and to move on. Hang in there. I decided to get my spirits up by indulging in the things I could not while pregnant (coffee, wine, sushi) and confiding in close friends and family who have gone through similar experiences for support. I have so far found that to be very helpful. I tend to feel like when you tell someone you had a miscarriage who hasnt experienced it they usually say something you dont want to hear even if there was no ill intent or they trivialize it. It is a painful emotional experience and i feel its important to allow yourself to grieve and rest. Feel better!

Thank you! My hubby's aunt messaged me saying she had one at 6 months gestation. It helped so much to know she gets it. It sucks. I can't bring myself to look at my baby's picture from my first ultrasound but can't take it down yet either. Ughhh.. Yeah I'm gonna go shooting, get sushi, eat raw cookie dough, and not thibk about babies for a few months.
