hmm

So if we have a boy, I kinda like the name Noah. It just seems fitting for our family. But I read online it's really common. Do yall know a lot of Noah's? I'm in NC and worked in daycare for 8 years and never had a Noah. So before I fall head over heels in love with the name.... how common is it where you are at?

I loved the name, Noah, also. However it has become more popular in Australia and a good friend of mine has a son named Noah. I tried to convince my partner on the name Koa (like Noah but with a K). I think it's lovely ? but he doesn't lol

Check the social security list of baby names for your state. Can vary widely based on where you live. I love the name though :)

I think that if you don't know anyone close to you with that name (like a friend's child, nephew or something like that) then it should be ok to use. If you like it don't let a silly list make you not use it. That's my opinion anyway.

I'm in Illinois and we have quite a few Noah's. My daughter has one in her class, and 2 of her friends have brothers named Noah. I love the name and wish it wasn't so popular in our area otherwise I'd totally use it. Oddly enough I named one of my daughters Sophia bc I actually didn't Know anyone with that name. Lol

It's become really popular in last few years in U.K. Think it's the most popular name last year and this year

It's been the #1 boy name since 2013.

I'm in NC too and a teacher. I've only had 2 Noahs. I don't think it is too common around here.

It probably depends on where you live. I'm in NM and don't know many noah's at all.

That was my choice for years, but of corse this year it's the #1 name for boys! I decided against it because of that, but it's up to you.

My three year old was going to be Noah. Then a gal I had told revealed they were naming their son Noah a few weeks later before we officially knew the sex of our baby. I was upset at first and was going to stick with it but then I started seeing/hearing it everywhere! My husband didn't like anything else but we finally settled on Sawyer. Noah just wouldn't have fit him so I guess it was meant to be. ?

I know a few kids named Noah and it was the #1 name not too long ago but i don't hear it every day

I know a few Noah's and taught a few but they are all older now. At least 18 years of age. Haven't heard the name for any younger children.

I'm also in NC and haven't met a kid with that name yet, though I do know of one Noah back home in Canada.

I've heard the name in passing, but never met one
