omgsh the whining
My LO is practically 15.5 months old. She's super duper sweet and cute, and we just adore her.. however..she's been super clingy to me, every 5 seconds she is saying mama and whining. Is this normal? She's not due for the next leap for another 22 days. I'm attributing it to teeth. Anyone going through this? Any ways to help her through it? Im acknowledging her every time she speaks to me. I don't give in to the whining and she gets lots of hugs and kisses, and playtime. She was miss independent , still wanting hugs but was going to other people and content playing while I cook, and now she refuses to even go to my mom and she doesn't want me cooking lol.

My baby is crying out loud if i need to go to another room...she doesnt want to stay with daddy or playing...she follows me crying and asks for my lap; and if hubby grabs her and doesnt let her follow me...she cries even more...i also dont know what to do...unless let her follow me everywhere....and hug her as soon my hands are free!!

Nova is the exact same way. The clinginess and whining even had me questioning my parenting. Like you, I acknowledge her every time she wants my attention because the whining drives me insane. I still haven't found anything that helps though. Smh

I'm glad to know it's just not me!! It made me question my parenting earlier today, too. That's a bad feeling!! My friend said her boys went through this phase and it lasted 2 weeks. We can tough this out ladies!

After three weeks of this, we are finally not whining as much. Hopefully the end is near for you guys, too!
Same exact scenario though; whining and crying, very clingy. Not in a leap and just over 15 months old. Must be a phase!
Oh, and nothing made it better :(

Definitely seems like a phase. Today I made her take 2 naps and that seemed to help some!

Scarlet has been the same for a few weeks. I noticed she is hitting her leaps earlier by a couple weeks the past 3 times or so.
She also is tempting her limits physically with anything she can. She gets to up to the edge of everything or climbs when she's not suppose to etc. Its driving me crazy. Lol
