not good
So I have called out of work tmw. I have an ulcer on the back of my throat, it's been sore all weekend. Gonna call the dr first thing in the morning. Never had strep. Hadn't had a fever. Just a swollen left tonsil and when I touched the ulcer with qtip, it popped and bled. Been salt water gargling and drinking tons of fluids. Any other advice until I can get to dr?

Oh goodness girl, that sounds very painful!!! Wish I had some advice but never have had a ulcer on the back of my throat!!!

Thanks much! Mom brought me colloidal silver throat spray earlier. It's a natural antibiotic, and from what I've read will kill the worst of infections. And it's safe for pregnancy. So I just gargled with salt water and baking soda and sprayed it with the spray. Now praying it goes away! Going to the chiropractor tomorrow too. And if it's not better by tomorrow, I'll also go to the dr. Oy. I hate being sick.

Not certain, it looks like the ones I get on my lip. I would have gone to urgent care today, however whatever it was didn't flare up til after they closed. Definitely calling dr tmw and getting it checked. It's not big, maybe the size newborns pinky nail. It's not red anywhere else so far. But I tell ya, the fatigue is kicking my butt.

What did the dr say? I've got the exact same thing, but I just assumed it was a canker sore like the ones I sometimes get on the inside of my lip. Just gargling salt water helps a lot.

She said as long as there's no fever, then I'm all good. I got clearance to suck on cold eeze throat lozenges. I've been doing salt water rinses and hot beverages. I can already tell a day and night difference. I hope you feel better!!!
