Off this cycle

So I’m fairly new to this ttc thing but I feel I’ve learned a lot. I just had a biochemical pregnancy with gonal-f, ovidrel and my first IUI. Only my 2nd month ttc being monitored. Saturday I went for baseline u/s and they said I had 5 leftover follicles/cysts on the R and 3 on the left. They are making me take the month off, and said I can still try on my own but I feel sad about that. I feel so restricted with time being 40 and I just felt I handled the biochemical pregnancy well. I declined bc due to my age. I’m worried it will take longer than a month to resolve. Anyone else have experience with time off?
