Cut on lips
What do you ladies do when your toddlers fall and bite/cut their lip? My 3 year old just fell and bit his upper lip. Now there is a bump and a cut. 2 days ago he fell and bit his bottom lip which also got cut. I gave him some pain reliever but what else can i do?

My toddler did the same thing about a month ago! I gave her pain relievers and ice on her mouth immediately after cleaning it up. Other than that, I left it alone. A week later it was all healed up other than some bruising.

How was she eating while it was healing? Im worried he wont eat because of the discomfort.

She struggled the first few days with certain things like acidic or salty foods. But she was able to eat fairly normally. She can be picky but wasn't finishing her foods because it was frustrating and sometimes painful for her to eat. So I let it go until she was more comfortable.

Your mouth is one of the fastest healing parts of your body. It will be fine. My son just came home yesterday from school with a busted lip. I gave him a popsicle and made sure he didn’t eat anything too salty or citrusy that evening. He’s 100% today.
