@aleya its hominy in a spicy broth made from dried guajillo and arbol chiles with spices. Then usually topped with radishes, onion, oregano, chile flakes, and lemon. Its also eaten with tostadas or just by its self. Oh an beef but my SO and i just started being vegan so i made it without it.

Yummy! I’m making pozole tomorrow too! Chicken pozole with a little bit of pork (espinazo) for flavor.

No crema on my tostadas con limon. We never ate them like that until I went to the mero ranchito in Mexico

@alou i thought the same thing. i was like crema in the posole?? ? Never heard of that. What part of Mex did you go to? My family is from Guanajuato and whenever we go ive never seen or heared of crema on tostada for posole ? It does sound good though!

I learned that in in the matamoros area because they don’t do that in Michocan where we visit lol. Some of my family does it in Monterrey but it’s rare. GTO is beautiful I love it ? I’ve been a few times and just the land is amazing
