WHAT THE HEALTH!
So yesterday my SO and i got netflix and we watched What the health. Long story short we have decided to become completely vegan. It made so much sense to us and really opened up our eyes. My son already prefers fruits and veggies over meat so it will be easy for all of us to start the path of being healthier. So if you ladies have any vegan recipes and tips that would be so helpful.

I actually found WTH really unconvincing and with very little evidence to back up their claims. I do think that eating whole foods that have been produced sustainably is important, though. I highly recommend both The Omnivore’s Dilemma by Michael Pollan and Animal Vegetable Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver if you’re wanting to explore the ways our diet impacts our health and the health of the planet.

I’m a vegetarian, and my family gives me a lot of crap about not eating meat. Well, at least they used to. I just ignored them, and tried to give them facts about it being healthier, but they just ignored me when it came to that! ? So not much help there.
And these things arent always the healthiest, but when you have meat cravings, the brand Morning Star has some awesome meat substitutes, like veggie bacon, veggie dogs, veggie chik’n nuggets, etc. They’re really good! And Boca is an awesome brand for really good veggie burgers!

@wishing Thank you it will look into them. Ive been on so many diets but never completely plant based and it really caught my attention.
@llama I will look for that brand thank you ? Yea i could already imagine what my family will say ? I have 1 vegatarian cousin and he would get talked down alot from our other cousins cause of it. Im going to deal alot from my dad and grandma about my son. ? ?
