Sorry for the non pregnancy related post but i need some help. I got snake bites last monday and i am kind of worried. Does the left side look wrong or infected? The inside of my lip looks normal it is just the outside i am worried about. It is almost 8 pm and i have to drive to another town to the closest piercing shop to ask professionally. So, for now can you ladies give me some help please. Oh yeah, a day after i got them my SO accidentally pulled the left one so might it just be a little slow on healing cause of that? Thank you for the help!

The left looks a little irritated. Is it sore? Any drainage from the piercing site? I would just keep an eye on it and clean it as instructed.

Its not sore but there is a little bit (very little) drainage.

Clear drainage or cloudy? I would probably have a professional look at it if it is draining. It could just be irritation (especially with it being irritated right after you got it) but, it could be the start of infection.

Its infected if its sore has yellow leakage is forming a lump around it and stinks. Mine always got irritated and took forever to heal. A small amount of white or clear leakage is normal as long as it doesn't stink. Its calcium. I cleaned mine with yellow Listerine for the inside and salt water in a shot glass or with a soaked paper towel. Never use cotton balls or swabs the fibers can make their way into it and cause infection.

For some reason I can't get 2 piercings at once. If I do one always gets extremely irritated or starts to reject. I have to get one at a time and let it fully heal.
Keep cleaning it like recommend. But have a piercer look at it. It does look irritated.

Ugh, i have been using swabs to clean the outside. ?
The drainage is white, doesn't smell, and it doesn't hurt. Thank you for letting me know about the swabs before it was too late! Hopefully it is just irritated since my SO tugged it alittle.

Mine looked like this for about a total of two weeks after I got it done, both inside and out. It slowly healed. Was just a little irritated since the piercer had left the ring a little loose (for swelling room) but mine never did swell so when I would sleep/lay down it would immediately swing the opposite way. Gravity. Looks okay to me!
