I did this the other day. I felt awful.

Aww I bet your SO felt so awful. I bumped my toddler's head on the top of the car putting her in the car seat and I felt awful the whole day.

Just add it to the list of things that you will feel life long guilt over. :)

Yea he did feel bad. Now he doesnt want to put him in it anymore.

I've done that to my sons chin :/ total accident but damn once you are too careful, than that kind of s*** happens ?

I bet he felt bad. At least he didn't do like I did, and clip the tip of his finger off with nail clippers. ? I felt HORRIBLE. And this was my 3rd child. I should be a pro. But no...I had to catch the tip of his finger thinking I had slid them under his nail.

@caldwell I did that to my son when he was about 8 months old I felt so terrible!! I was so scared to cut his nails again after that. my poor boy I still feel bad! and that was almost two years ago!!!

I bed your SO was crying inside. Its never a good feeling knowing you made your baby cry. I was reading my daughter her bedtime story one time and all of a sudden I heard my 1 month old start screaming and I knew right away something happened. I ran in the living room and my SO was holding him and rocking him about in tears and the look on his face. He just knew I would be mad. Basically he had laid our son down on the couch and stood up for a second to get a burp cloth that was on the couch two feet away and when he turned around all he saw was our son about to roll of the couch and he caught him but the fall scared him so bad. I felt so aweful because both my son and my SO were scared. I just gave them both a big hug. I made sure he knew that it could of happened to anyone and to just be very careful about laying him on the couch.
