Curfew What time is curfew where you live? It’s almost 10pm here and these little jackass teenagers across the street…

Idk if there's a curfew or not but a group of high school girls rolled up in front of my house a while back blasting their rap crap, YELLING, smoking, and snap chatting. I for sure went out there and used my mom tone/look. Who the fack cuts their grass at 10pm??? He knows hes being a jackass. The kids might not but he definitely does.

Oh wow mowing the lawn at 10pm ? lol it’s illegal here. Once the sun sets you can’t use any loud items that will disturb those surrounding you! However curfew regarding party/ noise is at 12am. My husband almost got fined for using his power tools on a job site after sun set, he got a warning lol!

@mama, what did they say? I feel like if I did that I would get yelled at back and I’m not prepared for that right now ?

@mummy.. lol. That’s funny. If I called the non emergency police here they would take hours to show up so I’m sure my neighbor would never get a warning since it would be quiet by the time they get here.

No curfew here and 10pm for mowing the lawn isn't uncommon in summer because it's light until at least 11pm and it's too hot during the day. You can call the cops for unreasonable noise past midnight, luckily my street is pretty quiet. We do occasionally get some renters that are awful but after 6 months they move on.

I live in the woods on a dirt road, my main issue is people FLYING so fast down my road it's unreal. I'll never let my kids check the mail when they get older. My house isn't far at all from the stop sign too so it doesn't make sense to speed up and "rev" ur truck passing my house all night. Go tear up someone else's dirt road.

Usually the noise curfew is 10pm!! Ugh I hate the sound of people playing basketball!! It drives me nuts!! I guess because I grew up next to a family of 10 kids (9 boys and 1 girl) so the boys were always playing b-ball!!

Here you can make as much noise as you up until 11pm. Whoch my neighbours take full advamtage of. Took a chainsaw to the tree in his garden at 10.30pm several times last year. I know its going to start again with the weather warming up. And they were refurbing parts of the house but only started at 7pm and didnt finish til almost 11 every night for 3 months.

And their dogs bark at daft times.

Its really no wonder my son doesn't sleep through the night.

Lol well one of the hussies was my neighbors daughter. Her mom works 3rd shift so they are always being dumb. I texted her mom and the girl came over and apologized the next day... and then I realized I would hate myself now if I was her age ?

I think it’s 10 where I live. I’ve only ever called the cops to enforce the noise ordinance once- the neighbors we share our back fence with were blasting music at 2am, yelling outside obviously throwing a very wild party and it sounded like they were in my bedroom with me it was so loud.
