Home not feeling like Home
Home not feeling like Home
So I've always moved around, always adapted and always felt at home. I would adapt quickly and never questioned where home was. I lived at the same place for 3 years, it felt like home, even with all the landlord drama and then it didn't. It felt like my reality literally shattered, the feeling of being at home gone from literally every place I still went (my step dads)(my dads was still safe, for the time being). My heart was shattered. My entire life fell apart. My second home, that i grew up in for 15yrs, ruined and I can't even step one foot in the house. I tried to build it back up, but i never could.

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. Not too familiar with your past, but have you tried to talk to a therapist about identifying steps to overcome this?

@nxm I have been in therapy. I've just had bad experiences with therapists too. My life has been shatt since I was little but I've always powered through. This time it was a big ball of betrayal that's entirely too hard to get completely past.

The only thing that has ever helped me in difficult situations is having faith, praying and believing. I get it if it's not your thing. Just sharing what has helped me. It's also not just a religion thing- it's a quantum physics thing too.

I'm hoping this vacation helps. I deserve to be happy for once.
And I deserve to forget about all this betrayal, even if it's for a few days.
