Your favourite Cabernet?
Buying my dad's gf a bottle of wine for Christmas. I asked him what her favorite wine was all I was told was "Cabernet, nothing too fancy". She's not too picky on wine, has an entire wine rack (20ish bottles) of different wines.

What’s the price range for “not too fancy?” To some that’s $50 to others that’s $10 ?
For a cheaper bottle I’d say I like Q Napa Cab. It’s a 100% cab, usually around $15-$20 retail.
For a “nicer” Cab I’d say Jordan Vineyards which is around $50 or Caymus Vineyards, usually closer to $75. Both have 100% Cabs and are California grapes.

Jordan is a really awesome wine for the price if you’re looking to indulge a bit. I used to manage restaurants, and was unbelievably blessed to get to try some incredible wines. One of the wine dinners we hosted was Jordan. Still one of my faves years later.

@Sarah, he probably doesn't want me to upstage him lol. But no it's more like she has the moolah to get super fancy if she wants but goes all over in price.

I went with Tisdale and Carnivore. These crappy liquor stores don't carry much out where I moved.
