I think I've upset my SO
Finally discussed how I felt with my SO because he never let me talk about it. From the jump, before I got pregnant, I reiterated I do not want my children to be compared to each other or others. Also, I did not want them to be treated differently, my oldests only real family now is me and my dad with my SO raising her since 1.

Stand up to them yourself, cut them off in mid sentence, if they cant be nice then leave.

What kind of comparisons?

What kind of remarks? I get it can be frustrating if it’s snarky or meant rudely. But I make comparisons all the time even with my own children. Not to be rude but bc I think it’s cool and amazing how every child is different and grows differently it’s always just amazes me.

Unless it's downright mean, I feel like this is normal. If it's making you more uncomfortable than normal, maybe you can re consider how you take their comments, or talk about it with your immediate family afterwards.

Pretty much anything you can point out about a baby, has been pointed out.
It's not so much what's said, it's when it's said.
I gave birth, literally 5mins later (I had asked for no visitors) "C weighed this much" "C this or that".
Like if me and SIL were bonding and it was her saying these things, I'd be okay with it, it's bonding. But I couldn't even have my daughter's birth be about my daughter. Visits seeing my baby, aren't about my baby.
It just bothers me personally.
Then everything's always from "their side ".

Totally normal... completely annoying, but it's just one of those things ?♀️sorry op.
ETA: It won't be coming from just family, the "comparison cycle" is never ending . Joys of parenting lol
