Don't let that sad little person weigh on your mind anymore! Know that people like this are the minority, and there are a LOT of good people in this world. My sister and I had a talk recently, and we've decided that racists and homophobes are becoming the new smokers. "You're a racist homophobe? Gross. You can't sit with us." They're seriously not worth a second thought. I'm glad you called her out though. Maybe she'll think about keeping her rancid thoughts to herself.
Recently heard something that stuck with me along the lines of "racism is a sickness and sickness can't be cured by arguing"... get it off your mind. That lady is just sick.
It's sad my 7 yr old was playing a "kid friendly" game on the phone and he was chosen to be the manager of a pizza shop. Someone typed in the comments who would let a n#$ger be manager. He was hurt. We had a conversation about it so he left the game but didn't understand why someone would say that. It was heartbreaking.
