Not pregnancy related but need some help

We had the same problem this summer. I could hear the vents kick on inside but wouldn't blow cold air. Turns out the outside wire to the big fan was chewed up so my brother was able to strip some of the wires and twist them together and also put electrical tape around it and it was fixed. I don't know if this could be the problem or not. But deffinelty check the wires if someone can.

I'm not much help on the ac thing, maybe it has a freon leak? As for the other, is it an apartment or house? With it being hud there has to be some way to turn them in because if I understand correctly they are paid by the government to provide this lower cost service?? Also if it's an apartment you can try calling the local apartment association and better business bureau.

Mine went out this summer also and we had to replace the entire fan thing outside. It would come on but it was spinning slow and then would stop and start again. We also had to replace some wiring to the outside fan. Cost us almost $3000 total to fix everything. Our system is pretty old though because it's an older house.

If it's hud housing you aren't responsible for fixing the air or heat. Some areas air is mandatory and heat is always mandatory in HUD housing. Send an email to the landlord stating everything that's wrong and needs to be fixed. Make sure to date it. Give them a reasonable amount of time to fix everything and if they don't send a second email saying they've had enough time and your fixing it yourself and deducting it from the rent. With my previous landlord I did that a few times and they would magically send someone out the very next day. They know you can go and find the most expensive person to fix it and they won't see a dime for quite some time.

I'll be sure to email them. We had a leak in our pantry that they just blew off. It's actualy quite irritating. We're probably one of the few who actually pay the entire amount. I'll look into the bbb as well because the moment we get something expensive fix they try to evict us.

They charge $10 to change a single lightbulb, it's ridiculous.

It's super odd here, there was some houses that caught fire and need total repair, they started a gofundme to cover the costs. Something is deffinitly illegal.

It could possibly need to be recharged.

And it's a house connected to other houses side by side. There's apartments too but we have one of the bigger units. We literally have to have maintenance yell at the workers and office to fix shat.

If you have to invest in a window air unit so at least 1 room is comfortable for you and in the mean time look into the details about your landlord having to fix it......
