It has to be made from the raspberry leaf not just raspberry flavored which I'm guessing your iced tea probably is just flavored :)

@jelly, thank you. That's what I thought, just wanted to double check lol

My midwife recommended getting a red raspberry LEAF tea that specifically has nettles and alfalfa in it as well. She said the combination of the 3 is much more effective and better for pregnant women than just the red raspberry leaf is alone. But if you can't find one with all three then make sure it's the raspberry leaf kind! ?

Red raspberry leaf and raspberry leaf tea are the same. You can find them in the bagged tea section at Target or maybe a grocery store. They won't be bottled. The tea that you have been drinking sounds like flavored tea which I'm assuming is bottled. That's different. ? I just started drinking it today and it tastes like regular black tea. I put Splenda in mine to sweeten it up.

You are correct, it is bottled. I wanted to stay away from my fancy teas that I need to brew lol. There's just so many differences these days. I probably have 3 different kinds for 1 flavor with like 30 different teas ?

I made 2 liters of red raspberry leaf tea (8tea bags) and let it sit in my fridge :) I've been enjoying a cup a day but plan to drink more closer to term. I'm only 32w now so I'm nervous to drink more lol

I have an obsession with tea so I'd probably drink too much lol so definitely trying to wait a little longer. With my first labor happened so fast so I'm a little scared lol.

I think you could drink as much as you wanted, but if you're scared just limit yourself ? I'm 38 weeks so I should be downing this tea right now lol. I also made a pitcher and put it in the fridge.
