Sounds about right to me. I feel my stomach go hard the whole way across, and yes, they can certainly get uncomfortable! So long as they are not getting closer together and increasing in pain, I wouldn't worry. If you can lay down and they go away or drink water and they stop, you're okay. But pay attention to if they start becoming timeable and closer together! That could indicate moving into actual labor.

I was wondering about Branxton hicks too. Don't think I acknowledged experiencing it with my first. I don't feel a tightening but my belly is definitely hard. Wasn't sure if the baby was in a position to make my tummy feel hard

I was actually having Braxton hicks contraction while i was getting my anatomy scan done and it wasn't until the tech asked me if i feel some tightening is when i put 2 and 2 together. But yes what your experiencing sounds like Braxton hicks contractions to me

Yes. I’ve been having them since about 23 weeks, that sounds right.

Definitely pay attention to them and my doctor told me to drink a lot of water. Dehydration happens quickly when you’re pregnant and will cause contractions.

Make sure you mention it to your doctor at your next appointment.

I gave birth to my twins at 32 weeks and my youngest at 36 so they have been seeing me more often for ultrasounds to check on my cervix. I’ll mention it to them to check on my appt on the 15th.

Yup that’s them. I hate when ppl say they don’t hurt bc they are very uncomfortable

I got Braxton Hicks bad with my first and now with my second if started earlier to me when I get it it’s so uncomfortable ☹️?

I think I'm starting to recognise the contractions with the hardness of the belly with Branxton hicks. I'm definitely getting excited!
