Got to see my precious baby girl at my 20 week ultrasound. Everything was perfect except they found a mild case of club foot on her right foot. We are going to a specialist Monday. Has anyone else's children been diagnosed with a club foot? I don't know much about it and would like some positive feedback if you have any.?

They said my niece had one but it turns out, her foot was just at a weird angle during her anatomy scan. She was totally fine when she was born. Good luck!

Hey, my little girl who’s now 9 weeks has a club foot on her right as well we found out during the second or third scan saw a couple of specialists who explained they would do when she was born and gave us lots of information about it. The day she was born and when she was only a few hours old the doctors put a cast up her whole leg then every week we would have to take the cast of make a trip to the hospital where the doctor would reposition her foot and re cast it then a few weeks ago she went for a small op where the doctors snipped her Achilles to help her foot move into the right position we were back in hospital the other day where the doctors where happy with her progress that we ditched the cast and she got fitted into some cute little boots that she has to wear for the next 3 months 23 hours a day. My little girl doesn’t know any different from having had a cast on and she seems to be fine with the boots it’s never caused her to much bother. Hope that kind of helps you I keep telling myself these boots and the cast aren’t on her forever only for a short while to help her foot move into the right place. And it should be fine once straightened it won’t stop her from doing anything when she’s older :)

My oldest son had severe club foot. Both feet had his toes touching inside his shin. He was casted 2 days after he was born and we went every 2 weeks to have new casts put on. He wore them until about 1 1/2 years old and then went to splints. They said he wouldn't walk with them but it didn't stop him! He would be wobbling all over in full leg casts. He's now 21 years old and you would never know he spent his first 2 years in casts/splints.
