petition to move countries?
My spouse an i are thinking about making a plan to move to canada but i have to petition to leave with my son who has just recently started seeing his father on weekends and weekends only. My son is two. Has anyone had to go through this or know what its like moving states or countries with a child when you're not with the other parent?? Please help

I have gone through the immigration process from Canada TO America, and I know that you for sure need the Dads consent to bring the child with you. A new parenting plan needs to be set up, from what I read on USCIS website. Maybe try calling USCIS or Homeland Security and asking questions.
I'm moving BACK to Canada from the US with my newborn, and if my soon-to-be ex husband wasn't willing to sign stuff for that to happen, I'd be in a real sh** show. Call, ask, and really do your research! Good luck, hunny!
