First miscarriage?

We just got our positive test about 4 days ago. Today I started spotting and now it's a full bleed. I called a midwife since I just moved and was pretty much a wait and see thing. The bleeding is gradually growing and passing some tissue. Hubby thinks the 4 test could be wrong and af was just late. Feeling really lost and emotional. I'm assuming I am miscarrying and being so early after testing nothing I can do ?
