Do you bring your kids? Dd's is tonight and she's in kindergarten. I've never done this before so I have no idea. Ex and I are both planning to attend, so that means we will bring her too, but I have no idea if we're supposed to.

ETA - We can make other arrangements for her if needed. That's why I'm asking.

Ours was parents only. That meant hubby had to stay with our kids and I went by myself.

Back to school night is generally parents only, open house at the end of the year is usually for kids too ? Although if you had to bring your kid(S) I'm sure you wouldn't be the only one! Not everyone can get a sitter for things like that! I remember my mom used to bring me and I'd play on the playground with all the other kids who had to come haha.

The only thing I don't take my kids to are parent teacher conferences. Everyone I know brings their child(ren) to back to school.

Here, it's where they meet their teachers for the first time also.

Our school had a movie playing in the library for al the kids while the parents sat in the meeting.

I bring them. The kids like to show me the things they do, and where they go. Also it usually coincides with the book fair so they want to buy books!

For back to school, yes. Parent teacher meetings, no. DDs school lets us know if there are parent only events so that we can make other arrangements for the children.

We brought her. And pretty much all the other parents brought their kids too. Thanks ladies ?

Back to school night for us us so kids can meet their actual teacher. Also at parent teacher conferences they address the kids as well wo we bring them to.

I asked the teacher if the kids were suppose to come she said they are welcome to come, but I just went alone.

I bring mine

I was instructed to bring my kindergartner, but no siblings. There was a parent-only meeting a different night, then a mini conference with just the kindergartner, parents, and teacher.
