I haven't had surgery yet. My surgical consult was last week and he gave me another injection (3rd one since Jan ?) but in a different place. If it works surgery will help and if it doesn't it won't. Which makes no sense to me. But I go back Sept 2nd. I'm assuming I'll know then about the surgery.

MRI showed no tear so that was good news. Now they think its something else.

Everything has been hectic, trying to get the divorce finalized, trying to get my shoulder fixed, upcoming court date again in Nov., have to see about getting ex's name off the house once I have a divorce decree. A lot of things at once!

Thanks aschlotz! Yeah I don't get it, he said if the shot doesn't help surgery won't help. I'm taking that to mean if the shot doesn't help the diagnosis is wrong (this is the 3rd attempted diagnosis) which is why they wouldn't do surgery. I don't know. I just want it fixed. At first I was terrified of surgery, now I'm just like - Fix me!!!! Lol.

That sucks, I'm sorry! I know my aunt's divorce took FOREVER!! What happened with your shoulder? I must have been taking a small vaca from baby bump and missed what happened! That sure is a lot to take in at once though! :(

I've been having issues since Dec with my shoulder. Had an injection and full round of PT, got back to functional but never back to 100%. Started having a lot of pain again, home PT exercises were making it worse, went back to Ortho, another injection and scheduled MRI. Took a month to get in for that and due to Dr vac then mine 2 more weeks before I could follow up. Then he referred me for a surgical consult. Now you're caught up lol.

No specific injury to speak of but I'm a rock climber and do TRX on a regular basis, I also had bad posture at work due to my keyboard placement (fixed now), so who knows, probably a combination of all those things.

Oh, okay that makes sense. I'm sure it was the combination. Poor posture killed my neck and back, and I have to go to a chiropractor every once in a while to get it popped back into place

I'm terrible with private groups alley I get bored easily and there's not enough traffic lol. I try to frequent them when I'm on a lot but haven't been on much to start so definitely haven't ventured anywhere else.
