I wear it on my little finger 24/7, it was made around 1750 for one of my ancestors named Brunissende ? .
It's engraved with my family's coat of arms.It went through the french revolution, exile to the states, and so much more (plus no-one sold it went they went through really hard financial times) ?!!
History facts for the ones who like that? (please dont tell me I'm the only one ?):
The losange form means it was owned by an aristocratic women married to a non-aristocratic men. By birth she had the right to wear her parents coat of arms until death, but not her descendents, so the ring had to be returned to her parents family at the women's death.
