@EK I live on a corner 10miles from a gun and dog auction flea market. This is the season of strays. I’ll have 30 dogs rehomed by August I’m sure. I grew up having a new dog show up every month. Usually pure breds that have outgrown the cute puppy stage and can’t be sold

My grandma had a stray show up last year who was obviously beat (I think she was a breeder who couldn’t have anymore litters) but she has become my grandma and grandpas new best friend. If you go to pet her she lays down instantly and she doesn’t jump up on you.

My grandpa has never liked dogs but this lady won his heart because now he cooks her breakfast bacon on sundays ?
