It's disgusting but it happens unfortunately. I know a girl who's boyfriend beat her daughter so bad she ended up in the hospital. She was only a few months old. He ended up in jail and she stood by his side. He claimed he didn't do it and she believed him. I don't know the specifics, but it's sick regardless. Who does this??

He was swinging at her and she used the baby as a shield. I'm not even lying. It's a bad situation

Wow that makes me really sad for that child. If she's openly posting that stuff on Facebook, I'm sorry, but I don't think I could keep my mouth shut. Not when a child's life is in danger.

This happened months ago and she never turned him in. And she continued dating him.

This makes me sad. She's so young, and to stay with someone who mistreats you or your child is BAD. :( Hopefully she gets far far away from him

I can't get over the whole using her baby as a shield?! Like wtf was going through her mind? I'd keep calling on her because that, truly, is cps worthy. That just makes my heart hurt so bad for that innocent baby.

If someone, I don't care who, punched my child I would be in handcuffs because I would have punched them with a hammer to make it even. I really can't understand why these girls and women allow someone to hurt their child and just stay with them. And yes I mean allow because even if they aren't ok with it and they stay with them...that's allowing.

I went back and tried to find the post and she must have deleted it, all I can find in the one where she posts that the baby got a concussion from her boyfriend hitting her. But I remember asking what happened and she said she dodge the hit and "accidentally" put the baby in the way of his hand

Um you can still take the post about the baby getting a concussion to the police.there's no reason a baby should get a concussion. Even falling off beds, babies don't get concussions.not to mention there should be a hospital/police report on record.I would call the state and report it, and continue reporting until someone does something.what if in a week you see her posting that her baby is dead? You'd have to live with knowing you didn't do everything you could to save that baby from the two people who are supposed to protect her

If she won't be her baby's shield, then you should! More people need to be strong in the face of domestic violence for the children because they can't help themselves.. I agree with a pp, report higher up and keep making noise until they sen out a case worker and at least interview and scare these people
