We aren't mayo people, but when we do it's always Hellmans. I just learned today that it's called Best Foods here on the west coast. I was sooooooo confused at the store today. I probably stared at the mayo section for a half hour wondering WTF to pick ????

Best foods tastes the same. Same company. Even the jingle...I grew up in California and it was "bring out the best foods and bring out the best". When I moved to Pennsylvania it was "bring out the Hellmans and bring out the best!"

My store has both names on the label, but Best Foods is in larger print. It's the only mayo DH will eat.

I've lived in California my whole life so I've only seen it as Best Foods. But that's the only brand of mayo I will get as well.

I once had a customer ask if we had best foods mayo. I took her to the Hellmans (same thing) and she argued it was not the same thing. She left without the mayo. Lol
