I'm doing Genome mapping to hopefully find my birth father. I'm pretty nervous about it. I hope it yields some type of useful information. I learned about it through another birthmom, she was able to find thousands of blood relatives who had also done Genome mapping. I just want to know who he is. My birthmom refuses to tell me. Technology is amazing sometimes.

I used 23andme.com. It used to give you a lot more information but then something with HIPAA laws happened? and they stopped being able to give you extensive info. My friend did it before that happened. But there's a 3rd party site that you can upload your results to and they'll give you everything 23andme can't. Including contact info for people in your family who've had theirs mapped too.

Gentry....she's a pathological liar so I'm not sure what to believe when it comes to her. She has told me she was raped. The rest of her family said she was dating someone. So it's a mystery. I just want to know. Even if that means I find out I was in fact the product of rape.
