I still have dreams of being able to do this someday. If only I wasn't such a huge procrastinator!!! It's my worst trait. But why worry about it today when I can put it off until tomorrow... ?
I'm drooling! It all sounds delicious! What night would be a good night for company?!?! ? It may take me a few days to travel your way, but it would totally be worth it! ?
Some are pre-cooked, some aren't. Most of the main courses are not pre cooked. The calzones are already pre-cooked and the taco meat is pre cooked. Oh and you brown the meat/soften the veggies for the stroganoff. It cooks fully in the crock pot though. Most of the sides are pre-cooked. Or have pre-cooked elements (like cooking the pasta for the pasta salad)
Some you have to defrost. Others you cook from frozen. Really you can cook any of them from frozen...it just takes A LOT longer to cook and chicken can get a little funky in texture in the oven. But it's still delicious. The instructions say to thaw in the fridge. I keep my fridge at just above freezing though, so they don't ever thaw in the fridge ?. I stick them in my sink to thaw and pop them in the fridge once they are mostly thawed.
I use a website called once a month meals because I'm terribly disorganized. I would never be able to pull this off without hand holding. Which that site does.
How do you have the dedication and energy for this?
I tried once... got as far as making pumpkin pancakes.. chocolate pumpkin fiber muffins, and some sweet potatoe broccoli patties. All for baby. The kitchen was TRASHED and I gave up after that. Lol. Not to mention all the food got freezer burnt??
I don't do it all in 1 day. I'm not that dedicated lol. It takes me 5-7 days to do it all. Depending on how lazy I'm being with that group ?. I wash as I go, so I don't have a ton of dishes.
So I'm incredibly interested and jealous! I've been looking at the website you mentioned and reading reviews too. Have you had any of the meals yet? Do they taste ok after they've been frozen and then thawed?

Including these, I've done about 100 recipes from the site. We've only not liked 4 of them. They have all been delicious except those 4.
