My son is 2.5. We put him to bed in his own room and more often than not, he gets up and comes into our bed in the night. I have always just pulled him up into bed and let him sleep. But we have 12 weeks until baby sister gets here and he is not going to be able to sleep in our room anymore.
Has anyone else had to deal with this? What did you do to get your toddler to stay in their room at night?

Maybe put a baby gate by his door so he can't get out?

We had this issue too I would just take him back to bed each time and eventually he stopped getting up, unless he had a bad dream. He was so good about it though, I have no idea how I would handle it if they put up a fight about going back.
