How long should I have BH after sex? Normally I have a few for like maybe an hour after sex. I'm going on 7 hours right now. I've had a nap, drank two bottles of water, had a snack, changed sleeping positions.. they're still about every 5 minutes.. but they aren't all that strong..
Also my blood pressure is high for the second time IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. The first time was when they induced me with my first.
I'm 3 cm dilated and 70% thinned. I'm hooked up to an NST so now we just have to wait to see if the contractions are making a difference or not. If so I'm staying and in labor, if not I'm going home. I'm waiting for the results to see if I've leaked any fluid.
Sound like you maybe in labor, with my baby I had bh alot so when my actual contractions came I had no idea water didn't break or anything by time I got to the hospital I was 7cm dialted . You should go in . I stayed going back and forth to the hospital better safe than sorry.
Well I feel like when I walk around they're closer than 5 minutes apart but when I lay down they're exactly 5 minutes
Two of my labors started that way, 1st baby and 3rd baby (2nd was a planned induction). Pretty much if I have sex after 37 weeks a baby soon follows. Good luck mama. I mainly back labor and only transition for about an hour before they deliver.
@charitylear it was my first and I was young so I didn't really wait. When I couldn't get them to stop I just went....I was scared because I wanted to make it to the hospital. But you should have a number you can call to see if your doc wants u to go.in. make sure they know you're an HR away
I would call in....it sounds like labor. I went into labor with my first after sex. The contractions started and never stopped ans when I got to the hospital 45 mins away I was 3cm
@fuhgeddaboudit That's what I was thinking about the every 5 minutes but with my first one, I had consistent BH and went in and they said they didn't know why they were consistent but they weren't affecting my cervix. My hospital is over an hour away so I might wait and see cause I'd hate to go there for nothing.
Sorry to hear that, I hope baby is ok.
