@meggcragle, try not to worry too much. It could be completely fine. I was throwing out the idea since the one side stick up the way it does. My sons was way worse and it corrected itself.

Looks like he might have a small hernia. Usually they go away over time as baby builds up muscles there. My son had a pretty bad one and it was gone by 6 months.

That looks pretty normal to me, he probably just has an innie, even after the cord falls off it still needs to heal. As long as it doesn't look infected or bleeding I'm sure it's fine.
