Vaginal tearing
If you tore during labor, can you still feel where you tore?
My son was only 6lbs Storm.. I think the assisted vacuum did it for me though ☹️
Its never going to be the same. I had a second degree tear too and you can see where the stitches were. It feels a little bumpy. I'm preggo with my second and I'll prob tear with my second in 3 weeks but oh well. It is what it is. You could still be healing a little bit too.
I'm also 7 months pp. I tore and had an episiotomy. I haven't tried to feel it with my fingers but sex is uncomfortable. Part of iy is psyhological for me too though and i think tense up more because of it makinh it worse.
tmi but I don't let him withdraw all the way because it hurts when he goes back in. I hope it doesn't last forever
I had an episiotomy with my first (sunny side up baby) and my stitches broke at 6 days pp. I got re-stitched in my OB office. I had a lot of scar tissue that felt like sitting on a knife during sex or if I sat too long. I had to do physical therapy for 3 months to fix it.
Me too. I'm only 6 weeks almost 7 weeks pp though.
My doctor said eventually it should go back to normal. I had a second degree tear from near my opening to all the way around (yes that's right, I said around) my butthole.
Sex is a little uncomfortable/painful unless a ton of lube is used
If it's discomforting did you guys tell your doctor? I phoned the nurses line for women's health and they said it would go away on it's own..
With ds2 I had 6 stitches. It was really painful when we tried to dtd for months and months after. I went back to the OB and she said when they stitched me up, they put an extra stitch, so it would take time to not be painful or they could snip a little piece of skin. Uh, no... I waited it out. Lol
