Why will my baby not sleep for more than 5 minutes? No wonder I'm not eating properly I don't have…

Max was quite bad with colic in the early days so I used a carrier occassionnally so I could still do some bits around the house. I had Morgan so I couldn't sit and hold Max all day. Other times I'd put him in his bouncer and bring him to the kitchen so I could wash up/ make dinner etc and he could still see me and I could chat to him. If she's been fed/ changed and is otherwise ok then go make yourself a sandwich. It will only take a few mins, honestly she'll be ok. Max was hard work unless I got him in a certain position to sleep sometimes as well!

@sara-lou86 I haven't got one. She has a bouncer but I'll leave her for a few seconds and she screams her head off 😭 literally have loads of drying to put away, haven't eaten, need to clean up and have a shower. Can't remember the last time I had a wee without her screaming x

House work can wait but you have to eat. A few mins while you make something won't hurt her. It's not nice but a minute here or there will make a difference in the long run. I'm all for cuddles but you have to look after yourself as well otherwise you'll end up useless to your baby lol.

@sara-lou86 Leaving her to cry ends up stressing me out and I don't like getting stressed around her. Managed 1 slice of toast just about before she started crying again.

@ezchaz I've tried it all nothing has worked. The house is depressing me that I can't do anything about it. And just want to have a shower. I'm currently rocking her in her bouncer.. the second I stop she wakes up and cries x
