So last week I had what I thoguht was an allergy attack. Nose running, coughing, wheezing etc. Then sassy started coughing and runny nose so it must have been a cold. I felt aweful and was sitll up and down with sassy all night long (and she slept even worse then normal due to the cold) well cue my husband gets a sore throat last night. He leaves for work all miserable cuz he doesn't feel good. Granted he had to be out in the rain for his job. But he messages me and is all like if I feel like this Tom I'm calling off I'm tired. And it takes all I have to be like must be nice to have that option cuz when I was sick I couldn't call off or take meds to help I had to take care of our daughter and he didn't offer to help (cept on mother's day a bit) no I'm expected to keep going but u can call off work and go nap 😧 must be nice. Sorry just needed to rant. I kno it's mom life and I don't mind taking care of our daughter I love it it's just he wants to be babied when sick (hello man cold) but I have to just keep going and barely even get a small break or hand and I barely complained 🙄

I just had the same talk with my husband last night. He came home talking about how sore he was from work. I told him, “ you clean up the Cheerios & I’ll clean up the bathroom” he’s like, “but I’m so exhausted” I said “you never care or help to do anything to make my life any easier, you don’t care when I hurt or cry. You put no effort into our marriage. What makes you think I care about anything going on in your life?” I know I sound mean but 2 days ago, & after 8 years I hit my breaking point

@bwulff88 he contributes to the marriage at least and such and he's been helping more with her then in the past it's just I was really feeling yuck and exhusted but I still let him sleep in last sat while I got up with her tho he did let me 'sleep' in on Sunday so that was nice. He asked me yesterday what it's like to work part time and I'm like we'll idk cuz it doesn't feel like that cuz I'm wirh our daughter literally 24/7 cept Mondays for like 4hrs while I do a cleaning job she goes to his moms. She comes with me on my every other weknd job. But we r busy cuz I try and keep the house clean (and he leaves things lay everywhere) and my mom needs help so I go there and we have appts and the home nurse comes every other week it becomes pretty busy. Hes like still must be nice not to have to wake up early and be able to sit around in ur jammies until noon. I wake up mom, we'd, Fri by 8:30 to walk a little boy to school. Yes some mornings I don't get showered and such until noon but I also have to eat breakfast and give our daughter breakfast and a lot of times I clean a little first. It's the one time of the day I can sometimes get a few mins and then a lot of times it's nap time for her. And since she's into everything it takes twice as long at times to get things done. I'm sorry he has u at ur breaking point and isn't contributing to ur marriage. I hope he took what u said and is gonna try and help

@lillyb, we had a talk about it & he seems to be trying. I just don’t wanna let it get me or get excited cuz for him, it’s a pattern... but we will see. It’s really his last chance - Honest to God

Me too. Ya know despite how frustrated I am with him right now, I would like my marriage to work... He’s never cheated on me & we have a lot in common & I know I make him happy. Then, our boys...
But I refuse to stay with someone for my kids. If he were a horrible role model, id be gone.
